Choose your charter type

There are three main charter types:

  • bareboat charter
  • skippered charter
  • fully crewed charter

Bareboat charter means to charter a boat without a skipper or the crew. In this case one member of your crew or you have to posses a valid nautical license, that is an International Certificate of Competence (competence in helmsmanship, collision avoidance and navigation), as well as the VHF certificate. If you have enough sailing experience, you can choose a bareboat charter to spend your vacation with your family or friends and make your own plans and itineraries, with no skipper as a guide.

A bareboat charter requires all members of the crew to take some responsibility for overall safety and managing the yacht, and is recommended to appoint one person to be in charge. This also means you will have more room on board - if you hire a skipper or the crew, they also stay on board with you and need a berth to sleep.

A bareboat charter gives a chance for a full sailing experience, depending on your own skills and experience.

We offer a wide range of boats available for bareboat charter, up to 50 feet. Our boats, both sailing and motor ones, are equipped with all the essentials as well as with safety and navigational equipment to make your navigation simpler and easier.

Skippered charter means chartering a boat with a skipper, so that you can rely on his skills and experience. As a captain of the boat he will be responsible for navigation, manoeuvring and safety of passengers. Besides, he will give you some advice on routes and places that are worthwhile seeing, be your guide through your journey.

If you feel uncertain about your competence and ability for navigation, we suggest a skippered charter then. Even if you could handle the yacht yourself, having a skipper means absolutely no worries. You just select one of the yachts that best suits your needs and your skipper will take care of the day-to-day running of your yacht, leaving you free to enjoy your vacation. You can rely on your skipper’s knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and the most sheltered anchorages. All of the skippers are well experienced and can surely meet your demands.

Another good thing about having a skipper on board is that you can learn a lot from him, and enhance your skills.

Some yachts can be chartered only with a skipper or a crew, so, take a look at our offer, and choose a yacht that you like and let the skipper take care of things on board.

Fully crewed charter is the most luxurious type of charter. Perhaps it requires more expenses, but it also means comfort, high quality service and style. The crew usually consists of a captain, sailor, cook or a hostess who will take care of everything.

Of course, when you hire several crew members, you need to provide them with suitable sleeping area so this type of charter is most common for larger yachts.
Having a crew on board means having a full service and absolutely no worries about anything. It is a perfect choice for an utmost relaxing holiday.

Larger yachts usually come fully crewed for charter, and have separate guest and crew area, so you have your privacy and comfort.
