Sailing yachts, unlike motor ones, require more navigational competence from true enthusiasts, adventurers and sea lovers. They are much more complicated and difficult to manage, although, the advances in boating technology have made it safer and easier to navigate a sailboat.
Their interior is, in some smaller models, not as spacious as in a motor yacht, but longer models (very common in the market) are just as roomy and comfortable, not to mention luxuriously furnished and fully equipped.
Sailing yachts essentially give you an active sailing holiday, but also allow you quiet and relaxing time at sea.
A great thing about sailing yachts is that they are more economical in fuel consumption than the motor yachts. And they are more affordable than the motor yachts.

Catamarans make a special category. They are more stabile than other sailing yacht types, and a lot more spacious, which is great if you have small children aboard. Furthermore, they are relatively easy to navigate, especially in shallow water, and more comfortable in number of ways. It is a good choice for the sailors with lesser experience, but, we strongly recommend hiring a skipper if you are not completely confidant with your sailing skills.
